Experience and knowledge are tested when a plumber has to repair a leaking pipe. Copper pipes are often located in walls and roofs or floors. Pipes may burst, and when this happens, the plumber is required to work quickly and efficiently. A burst pipe not only wastes water but could cause major consequential damage to the rest of the building. Electrical wiring damage, wall damage, floor covering damage, roof space damage, the repair cost could be extreme.
