Welcome to Grade 11 Civil Services, Plumbing.

This course is the sixth of twelve that you will be studying during this year.

We have created videos for you to watch together with your textbook. This makes learning each module so much easier.  At any point, you will be able to pause the video, or go back and re-watch it.

Find the name of your prescribed textbook under the Materials tab.  Any other handouts/summaries will also be under the Materials tab.  At the beginning of every module, we will let you know what pages in the textbook you need to look at. We will also let you know if there is an assignment for that module or if there will be a test/quiz at the end of the course.

Joining

No plumbing installation can be complete without joining pipes.  Here we are looking specifically at the different types of pipes used in the plumbing industry and how they are joined.  As we have said before, a leaking pipe is a plumber’s frustration.
